I’m like most people when I say I like to look through magazines to see beautiful kitchens. This month I found two minimalistic kitchens that are quite striking and very opposite from each other.
This pristine kitchen is featured in Canadian House & Home. Designer Anna Simone creates an airy kitchen by removing a wall, utilizing glass shelving instead of traditional upper wall cabinets and adding a ladder to taller cabinets for maximum accessibility to storage.
This second minimalistic kitchen is featured in House Beautiful. Owner Eldon Wong says his goal was to make the space look more like a family room than a kitchen. Check out the magazine to read how Eldon incorporated drafting tables into the island.
