GE Appliances, a Haier company (“GEA”) has announced a recall of 220,000+ GE Profile High-Efficiency Top-Loading Clothes Washers due to a risk of fire.
This recall is for older appliances sold between June 2003 and October 2011.

There’s a small recall coming from Broan Nutone for about 650 of their L500 Ventilation fans sold in the US and Canada.
The company cautions the fan motor can overheat and cause a fire.
The Broan Nutone L500 sold between February 2016 through March 2016 for about $240.
The fans were sold under nine brand names and have the model information printed on the specification label affixed to the blower assembly. Fans included in the recall are:
