New Axor Faucets

Axor continues to add to its collection of high-design kitchen and bath fittings with beautiful creations from Philippe Starck and Antonio Citterio.

Axor Starck Higharc | KitchAnn Style

Axor Starck Kitchen:

The company has added three new designs to its Starck Kitchen line: HighArc, Prep, and Bar faucets, all available in chrome or steel optik finishes. The 17-1/2-inch-high HighArc faucet has a pull-down handle and 2 spray options.

The line’s pot fillers add versatility with wall- and deck-mounted versions. All faucets in the line have ceramic cartridges and swivel spouts.

Axor Citterio Kitchen:

Citterio has designed a new faucet and two pot fillers. The Citterio M 2-Hole Kitchen Faucet has an M2 ceramic cartridge and pull-down spray head integrated with Hansgrohe’s QuickClean technology that helps resist lime scale formation. Its swivel spout comes with an optional extension set.

Like the Starck collection, the pot fillers are available in wall- or deck-mounted designs, and all three elements in the line come in chrome or steel optic finishes.

The Hope Gala

Cambria quartz | KitchAnn Style
On March 2nd, the Florida Suncoast Chapter JDRF is hosting it’s 7th Annual Hope Gala ~ The Illumination Ball at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida honoring Mr David Collar.

JDRF is the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s research mission is to discover, develop and deliver advances that cure, better treat and prevent type 1 diabetes.  As the global leader in the fight against type 1 diabetes, JDRF’s research programs are comprehensive — addressing all aspects of the disease for the best quality of life and a cure for this disease.

One of the great sponsors of the event is Cambria, the only American Quartz manufacturer. Cambria is a family owned company that started in the late 90’s making slabs for DuPont.

As part of the Hope Gala, Cambria has donated  The Ultimate Kitchen package that will be auctioned off by Cheryl Tiegs. This incredible package is worth over $45,000. In addition to $10,000 in Cambria countertops, the package contains design consultation services, cabinetry, Benjamin Moore Paint and  Kohler fixtures. Who wouldn’t be excited to bid on this prize?  Cambria has informed me they decided not to move forward with this event this year.

If someone you know has type 1 diabetes, this may be a great event for you to attend. For more information, visit

Exotic Granite

I bet you could guess the name of this exotic granite by its unique pattern.

If you guessed Turtle, you’d be right.  Turtle Blue  is from Brazil and is Blue and Green in color.  It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. Small installations are not ideal since you will lose its unique pattern. Another stone from the Middle east is called Turtle Green but it looks nothing like this gem.
