If you have an IKEA store in your area you can purchase battery operated LED strips with sensors for lighting up a drawer interior.
The Dioder from IKEA is 11″ long. It will light up for 15 seconds when you open the drawer. If still on, it will go out 5 seconds after you close the drawer.
If you are in the habit of opening drawers in the dark then this will be very helpful for you. I can imagine this as being useful for the drawer that houses the flashlights and batteries in case of a power outage.
The IKEA Stores (no Internet sales) also sell a multicolor Dioder LED strip that is switched. They are sold in packs of 4 and are 9 3/4″ long. These will work well behind a mirrored vanity cabinet.
If there is not an IKEA near you, I am told Costco sells Cyron LED light strips in a 6 pack. They may be a warehouse only item since I could not find them on their website.
Cyron does have a website so if don’t have a Costco membership you can still get the lights. They sell kits with lights, clips and controllers.
You can use these in many places. You are only limited by your imagination.
Make your home theater spectacular by adding these lights behind your flat screen TV.
