About 1000 electric wall ovens (single and double) manufactured by Elecrolux for Frigidaire and Kenmore could have a faulty thermal switch posing a fire hazard.
They were sold in black, white or stainless steel. The single ovens measure about 24 inches wide, 32 inches tall and 25 inches deep. The double ovens measure about 24 inches wide, 51 inches tall and 25 inches deep. “Kenmore” or “Frigidaire” is printed below the oven window. The model and serial numbers are located on the left side trim on the inside of the oven. The following model and serial numbers are included in this recall:
The Frigidaire ovens were sold at by Knie Appliance & TV, Inc., in Illinois from March 2016 through April 2016.
The Kenmore ovens were sold exclusively at Sears stores nationwide and online at www.sears.com from March 2016 through April 2016.
If you own a recalled oven, you should immediately stop using it and schedule your free inspection and repair.
