ZLINE issued a recall in January 2023 for 30-inch, 36-inch and 48-inch gas ranges due to a faulty oven component of select gas ranges that can emit dangerous levels of carbon monoxide (CO) while in use, posing a serious risk of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning.
ZLINE Recall January 2023
This recall involves the oven compartment of ZLINE gas ranges to include those with model numbers RG30, RGS-30, RGB-30, RG36, RGS-36 and RGB-36 RG48, RGS-48, and RGB-48. The ranges were sold in various door colors including black matte, blue gloss, blue matte, DuraSnow, red gloss, red matte and white matte and multiple finishes including stainless steel, black stainless steel and DuraSnow, a cloudy steel finish.
The gas ranges were sold from February 2019 through December 2022 at various home centers, price clubs, appliance dealers and online sites such as overstock.com and wayfair.com for between $2,300 and $6,900.
If you have an affected ZLINE model, STOP using the oven immediately. If you are unsure, use the guide below to check your range.
Locating your Model Number
The ZLINE model number is printed on a label on the back of the range. For ranges purchased after 2020, the model number is also printed on a label underneath the range top. Only ZLINE gas ranges with the model numbers listed above are included in this recall. Dual-fuel models begin with the letter “RA” and are not included in the recall.
If your range matches the model numbers listed and there is a “FAN” button on the right hand side, the oven is gas fuel and is AFFECTED by this recall.
