Frigidaire owners take notice. Two recalls for home appliances may affect the safety of your family.
Electrolux is recalling all Frigidaire Stainless-Steel 30-inch 4 Burner Gas Cooktops (model FFGC3026SS) and Frigidaire Stainless-Steel 36-inch 5 Burner Gas Cooktops (model FFGC3626SS) with control knobs with black shafts sold between 2016 and 2022
The reason for the recall is a safety issue with the cooktop’s plastic knobs, which can crack or break during use, posing a risk of gas leak or fire hazard. All impacted knobs have a black shaft and the new replacement knobs contain a chrome shaft.
The model number and serial number are located on a label on the underside of the unit. Use the diagram to locate your serial number and then check it on this page.
The second recall I want to share is for the Frigidaire FFLG4033QW and FFLG4033QT gas laundry center. This recall was issued because the felt seal on the dryer drum can be folded inward and can lead to an accumulation of lint, creating a fire hazard.
The Laundry Centers were sold in white and titanium colors between October 2014 through April 2018. To see if your model is part of the recall, locate the model and serial number on a label inside the dryer door and check them on this page.
If you still have questions, contact the Electrolux helpline at 1-800-314-3998 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
