Dunn-Edwards has announced its Color of the Year 2019 – Spice of Life – and it is very similar to another COTY.

If you love colorful appliances then you are familiar with the names BlueStar and Big Chill. What you may not know is that these companies, owned by Prizer-Painter Stove Works, have announced a recall on 9,700 wall ovens and ranges due to an issue with use of the convection oven fan during pre-heating or broiling that can cause accumulated gas to ignite, posing a burn hazard to consumers when oven door is opened. Here’s a first, Ace Hardware invited neighbors across America to mix their very own paint color and enter for a chance to be the 2019 Color of the Year.
During Ace’s Neighborhood Paint Party in March, consumers were encouraged to hand mix, create and name their own paint color for a chance to be entered into Ace’s Color of the Year Contest. Submissions were judged by a panel of Ace color experts who selected 25 finalists, with consumers leading the ultimate decision process as over 35,000 fans voted for their favorite color on Ace’s social media channels. The winning Clark+Kensington color, Pineapple Cream Granita, was created by Francine C., of New Jersey at her local Ace, Costello’s Ace Hardware of Lincoln Park, NJ.
