Earth Day Reuse and Recycling Round-up Event
Donated clothing, electronics, shoes, books, household items and cell phones go to Goodwill Industries. While you’re there, get free document shredding from Goodwill Secure Shred.
Give your medicine cabinets a thorough cleaning and bring any unused or expired medicines to Operation Medicine Cabinet. Next go through your garage and collect any hazardous household chemicals, rechargeable batteries, paints, used motor oil and fluorescent bulbs you’ve been storing for collection by Collier County Solid Waste Management.

Celebrate Earth Day at Naples Botanical Garden

Rookery Bay BOGO
In celebration of Earth Day, the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center offers “buy one, get one free admission” and will be showing a selection of Earth Day films.

Earth Day with Butterflies
A special guided tour of the Tom Allen Butterfly House will teach about local butterflies and about how to attract them to yards. Watch a butterfly tagging demonstration and help with a butterfly release.
