Gorenje Group, owner of ASKO Appliances, has voluntarily initiated a safety recall of select ASKO dishwashers with cords that can overheat in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada.
The ASKO dishwashers affected by this safety recall were manufactured in Slovenia between from October 2016 – September 2017 an sold exclusively at ASKO North America authorized dealers nationwide from October 2016 – July 2019 for between $1,000 and $2,200.
The recall affects approximately 26,600 units in the United States, as well as 4,300 units that were sold in Canada. Locate the model and serial numbers found inside the dishwasher on the right side of the dishwasher tub to see if your unit is included.
