According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission 7 pet deaths have been linked to a safety issue with certain Samsung Slide-in ranges.
Over 1.1 million ranges sold between 2013 and August 2024 are part of a recall due to knobs that can be turned on if pets — or even humans — bump into them.
A recent video appeared to illustrate the risks, with home security footage showing a dog jumping toward a stove briefly and turning on the burner, igniting a cardboard box.
