Silestone now offers a new transferable, limited 15-year warranty for North American residential applications when purchased through an authorized installer or dealer.
In addition to covering the permanently installed countertops, the warranty also extends to the company’s Integrity sinks.
Warranties must be activated within 60 days of installation to be eligible under theĀ new program.
Warranty registrations can be activated and Transfer of Ownership can be filled out by visiting www.consentiowarranty.com.
Ann:
Silestone is made in Spain, so I prefer to specify Cambria, made in the good ol’ US of A. Quartz composite materials are so stain/heat resistant that getting a warranty, other than from your fabricator, seems redundant. Also, other composite materials, such as concrete and surfaces containing recycled glass, are regional in nature due to the cost of transporting the extreme weight. For countertops, I recommend: look close to home for quartz or other poured slab materials which are in the family of terrazzo or quartz and also consider regional stone or granite or ceramic tile made in America.
