Benjamin Moore’s  has unveiled  Metropolitan (AF-690 ) —a subdued dove gray—as its Color of the Year 2019.

In a time when there seems to be a shift towards using more color, the experts at Benjamin Moore have selected a shade they describe as “color, off duty.”

While last year’s choice for 2018—a vibrant red called Caliente— echoed a desire for passion and standing strong,  this year’s choice gravitates towards escapism and comfort.
