Fiandre, part of the Iris Ceramica Group, announced its first U.S. production of marble looks and slabs, in a new porcelain tile collection called Royal Marble featuring refined marble looks that includes both large format tiles (LFT) and traditional format tiles.
The new, Italian-designed, Royal Marble porcelain collection will begin rolling off the line in early summer at the company’s Crossville, Tenn. plant.
“This is a significant achievement for Fiandre. Our clients can now reap the benefits of faster lead times and delivery, for a high-end collection of marble-look slabs and shapes,” – Joy Klein, vice president of sales and marketing for Transceramica, Fiandre’s direct-sales division.
The material’s versatility allows designers to complement or contrast hues or create distinctive mosaic patterns on floors and walls. Royal Marble tile adds a timeless visual impact wherever it’s placed. The natural characteristics of porcelain tile provide additional advantages – such as being nonporous, so they’re a safe and healthy option for food preparation and being UV-resistant which make it ideal for outdoor use.
The Royal Marble collection includes six color shades from bright white to deep grey, available in two finishes: polished and honed. The collection is available in six different sizes and two different thicknesses: 120”x60”, 60”x60”, 30”x60” in 6 mm thickness and 24”x48”, 24”x24” and “12”x24” in 8 mm thickness. Royal Marble colors include: White, Beige, Light, Charcoal, Black and Grey Crosscut.
Moving forward, we will see materials mixed in unique ways to further our appreciation of timeless materials such as marble.
