Paykel is recalling about 500 Professional Style Gas Ranges sold in the US and Canada due to the risk of a serious burn hazard due to delayed ignition
This recall involves Fisher & Paykel 30”, 36” & 48” Freestanding Professional Gas Ranges with a gas oven sold between June 2025 through March 2026.
To see if your range is affected, you will want to locate the model and serial number. These numbers can be found under the kickstrip on the front of the product or on the rear panel of the product. The serial numbers start with three capital letters followed by six numeric digits.
The recalled models have a serial number starting with EEV, ERV, EAV, EYV, EUV, ELV or RFV. You can enter your serial number into the Fisher Paykel website fast verification.
If your range is part of the recall, stop using the oven immediately. You can still use the range top while you wait for your free repair.
