This year, as part of its mission to introduce ‘purposeful innovation,’ appliance veteran Midea has launched its very own branded suite of Midea America large kitchen appliances.
The new kitchen appliance suite from Midea includes a dishwasher, French door refrigerator, slide-in range and over the range microwave.
The new dishwashers offer most the features you would want in a stainless unit. Midea’s 3-Rack Dishwasher offers flip tines on the lower rack and an adjustable upper, extended dry to reduce spotting, interior LED lighting, Wi-Fi integration and a sleek LED cycle indicator just to name a few. The machines are also quiet – 45 dBA which is just under the hum of most refrigerators or the sound of someone washing their hands in the sink.
Midea’s new range collection features 2 electric and 2 gas powered slide-in ranges. The edge-to-edge design and blue backlit LED knobs. The spacious 6.1 cf oven offers a steam clean function, delay start, auto shut-off and sabbath mode. Premium features include Wi-Fi connectivity, Air Fry Convention Mode, and a Perfect Cook Probe that will send alerts to your smartphone when food is done. Induction cooking, unfortunately, is not an option.
Midea’s French-door refrigerator joins the bottom freezer and side-by-side models already available. A PerfectChill™ drawer lets you adjust the temperature from 30° for meat, up to 41° for perfectly-chilled wine while multiple evaporators create three cooling zones. With the dual icemaker, you can choose cubed or crushed ice delivered through the door. The second icemaker in the freezer keeps bulk ice on hand for filling coolers or ice buckets.
The new over-the-range microwaves feature a large 1.9 cf interior and powerful 400 CFM recirculating fan. The convection model features Bluetooth Range-to-OTR Link. Once paired with your Midea range, the microwave fan and LED light will automatically turn on when the range is in use.
Midea America, the U.S. subsidiary of Midea Group Co., Ltd, Foshan, Guangdong, China. Currently all appliances are manufactured in China and available locally at Lowes. Look for the new collection to be available winter 2021/2022.
